CNADCA
Canadian National Air Duct Cleaning Association
The Canadian National Air Duct Cleaning Association (CNADCA) is a federally incorporated, non-profit organization established to protect Canadians by advancing safe, ethical, and scientifically grounded practices in air duct cleaning and indoor air quality (IAQ) services.
CNADCA exists to address long-standing gaps in consistency, oversight, and consumer protection within the HVAC and air duct cleaning industry. By developing national standards, delivering accredited training, and administering independent certification programs, CNADCA raises the level of professionalism across the industry while safeguarding public health.

Air duct cleaning directly impacts indoor air quality, occupant health, and HVAC system performance—yet for decades, the industry has operated with limited national oversight. CNADCA was formed to provide:
• A uniform national technical standard
• Independent certification for companies and technicians
• Clear consumer protections and ethical enforcement
• Verifiable cleaning and documentation requirements
• Ongoing compliance and accountability mechanisms
CNADCA operates as a neutral, non-commercial body, independent from any single service provider or manufacturer, ensuring decisions are made in the public interest.

CNADCA is governed by a Board of Directors and supported by independent advisory committees specializing in technical standards, training, compliance, ethics, and consumer protection. This structure ensures transparency, accountability, and balanced representation of public, technical, and industry interests
